I have an old photograph portrait of me taken when I was 27 years old. I took it out yesterday and took a picture of it with our digital camera and posted it on Facebook. But the thing that struck me was how very similar it was to a portrait done of Nancy Storace when she, too, was 27. I put the two together so that you could see them. Of course Nancy, being half Italian had dark eyes, dark hair, and an olive complexion and I am as fair as they come. However, look at the shape of the face, the shape of the eyes, the nose, etc. Steph and I found the similarities to be very striking.

Interesting... this would support Semkiw's observation that we tend to resemble each other through incarnations. However, most of the other people I've talked to who are into this stuff dismiss this notion as incorrect. Semkiw has something of an anti-fan club floating around cyberspace. I personally don't know if he's onto a hard fact or merely noticing something incidental. It would be interesting to know if it's a rule, a tendency or one of a number of possible outcomes.
One of the portraits of the Duke of Orleans looks a great deal like me, several of the others look somewhat like me. If our faces truly reflect our souls, I'd expect our incarnations to look more and more like each other as we age. One of the big reasons I'd like to figure out the identity my clergyman incarnation is because there should be a decent portrait of him and it would give me more information on the matter.
I've identified possible to likely past lives of a number of celebrities using this theory.

Hi Peter,
As a general rule, Steph nor I have ever put much stock in it alone, but combined with other factors and connecting threads, we feel that it can be used along with other substantial evidence to connect one to a past life. As Steph has aged, she has come to resemble portraits of Mozart, and her body type (even though she is female), shape, and even height are nearly identical to what his was. But, yes, if one relies on physical features as the heavy-weight of evidence, then I agree, it doesn't count for much.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that we have "aspects" like Hindu dieties and might even have more than one "look" depending on the past lives we're focused on in a given incarnation.
